NORDSTAT2014, the 25th Nordic conference in Mathematical statistics was held in the Turku University June 2nd-6th, 2014. NORDSTAT is a biennial meeting organized by the Nordic and Baltic countries. The conference brings together probabilists and statisticians from countries in the Northern Europe and the Baltic states to discuss recent developments on diverse topics in statistics and probability.  NORDSTAT also warmly welcomes participants from other countries.

The main scientific themes of the year 2014’s NORDSTAT were robust methods, high-dimensional problems, timeseries and stochastics, Bayesian analysis and brain imaging, however a wide variety of subjects were presented by over a 100 authors in a total of 31 sessions.
