Tilastotieteen keskus
Tilastotieteen keskus kokoaa yhteen tilastollisten menetelmien asiantuntemuksen koko yliopistossa. Se pyrkii edistämään tieteiden välistä tutkimusyhteistyötä ja tilastollisten menetelmien innovatiivista käyttöä. Keskuksen ytimen muodostaa tilastotieteen oppiaineen tutkimus- ja opetushenkilökunta osana Matematiikan ja tilastotieteen laitosta. Keskukseen kuuluvat lisäksi yliopiston muissa yksiköissä toimivat statistikot ja tilastotieteen opettajat. Yliopiston muut tilastollisten menetelmien asiantuntijat kuuluvat keskukseen vuorovaikutuksessa toimivana verkostona.
